I am so excited to be partnering with Walmart.com this month to share all of my favorite baby must-haves. Walmart.com has become a one-stop destination for all baby essentials, from nursery furniture to strollers, to diapers, to monitors and other gear.
August is National Breastfeeding Awareness month, and Walmart is gracious enough to support this event with deals on covers, nipple creams, breast pumps, as well as bottles and other feeding items. While I was pregnant I decided I would exclusively breastfeed Calista for as long as I could, but I had no idea how hard it would be, and how much of an undertaking it was. I was able to stick to it for 2 months, and then I ultimately had to switch to formula which turned out to be great for baby and mom! Most people have no idea how hard breastfeeding is, and it’s so important to have a National event to raise awareness surrounding breastfeeding. To all you mama’s out there who tried it once, stuck with it for 3 months, or continued nursing through the 1st year, YOU ARE ALL ROCKSTARS!
When I switched Cali from breast milk to formula she had a really sensitive stomach, so I needed a bottle that minimized gas as much as possible. The Dr.Browns were highly recommended for these types of issues, and they really helped so much! Plus, I love that they come in pink. So cute!
When it comes to your baby’s nursery, Walmart.com has all the essentials! They have so many beautiful cribs, bedding, and furniture. We got the most comfortable glider chair, and this chair has gotten me through so many late night feedings, and is the spot where we sit and read Calista a story every night before bed. Then every night when we put her down in her crib, she must be surrounded by her teddy bear and unicorn. She cannot sleep without them!
As a new mom, I didn’t know what products would be best for my little munchkin but I quickly fell in love with the Babyganics brand. Their products are made with the most natural ingrediants and they make everything from body wash, to lotion, to sunscreen, to disinfectant wipes.
When it comes to food, we always like to cook Calista’s food, but on the weekends we are usually out and about, so I always have the Plum Organic Food Pouches on hand to take out with us. She loves them, and I love that they’re made from natural, safe ingredients.
