This was my first time experiencing NYFW and it really was the incredible experience I expected it to be! My schedule was packed and I was on the go the moment I got there, but it was totally worth the post-exhaustion! Thursday kicked off fashion week for me and I had my busiest day of shows, blizzard and all! I wore this gorgeous Saloni dress, with OTK Stuart Weitzman boots. I wanted a bright, fun print, but needed something somewhat practical while maneuvering through snow and ice, so somehow this outfit did the trick! I wore a sleek black turtleneck under the dress so it was more winter appropriate. I finished the look with my favorite Bauble Bar Crispin earrings. They are so chic, and also lightweight! I’m stocking up in every color!

My Thursday shows included Tadashi, noon by noor and Michael Costello. Here are the highlights and my recap from each amazing show:

Tadashi:

OMG! This show was truly breathtaking. I loved all the floral prints and girly silhouettes. The floral top coat was so elegant, yet something that you could throw on over jeans and a t-shirt for an instantly chic look. The pink fur collar was the perfect touch. This is something I need in my closet! Another standout piece was this velvet, floral embroidered gown. The drapey off the shoulder sleeve was such a pretty detail. The way the floral embroidery is positioned down the front of the dress is so flattering and creates a gorgeous illusion. This is a trend I never want to go away. Lastly, the floral brocade suit set was just incredible.  I love anything menswear inspired, and this jacquard print adds a femininity to the pant suit. The blue and gold colors give this a regal look. There were so many beautiful pieces, it was hard to only pick a few favorites!

Noon by Noor:

Noon by Noor was all about the neutrals, and who doesn’t love that!? The show included a mix of oversized masculine silhouettes, and  etherial, beaded pieces that were incredibly feminine. The collection focused on the cut and fabrics, with soft sweaters, and textured chiffon. All the pieces draped perfectly over the models, and created a movement as they walked down the runway. It was a very warm and calming collection. Another highlight of this show was seeing Olivia Culpo in the front row! She is so stunning!

Michael Costello:

I ended my day with Michael Costello and it was definitely one of my favorite shows! The gowns were so stunning and full of detail. Even the music was exciting and brought me back to life after a long day! Everything was black and white, with lots of beading, sparkle and chiffon. The models floated down the runway with long trains and capes trailing behind. I loved the way they belted the gowns also. It added an edge to the formal evening-wear collection! The pictures speak for themselves on this amazing collection!
